KV2 at the Heart of Santa Fe’s Thriving Art Scene

Santa Fe, New Mexico - Meow Wolf is an art collective founded in 2008 that has focused on producing immersive art installations and events centered in Santa Fe and around the country. After the creation of the Due Return a full-sized time travelling ship, a desire for a permanent installation became clear. Over 100 local artists transformed the space into “House of Eternal Return” - a labyrinth of interactive storytelling that has guests walking into a full-sized Victorian home and then through portals to alternate dimensions that guests access through a washing machine, a fridge or a fireplace (to name just a few). Also inside of House of Eternal Return, Meow Wolf has a venue where the system of choice is a KV2 Audio ES.

U.S. Embassy Prague

On the occasion of the U.S. Independence Day celebrations (July 4), the U.S. Embassy in Prague held an event at the residence of US Ambassador Andrew Schapiro. A KV2 sound system was deployed to take care of the difficult acoustic environment, mainly due to the size of the park and the number of large mature trees.

The Cityfox Experience & The Brooklyn Mirage

The appearance of the Mirage was the culmination of a vibrant underground house music scene that, over the last few years, has been simmering just below Brooklyn’s surface. Cityfox, a local favorite in the warehouse rave business, and regular purveyor of incredible house music acts including Adriatique, Atish, Nicole Moudaber, and Solomun, created a semi-permanent space for their parties for the summer. Preceding the official opening, the first event in the space was the Cityfox Den (April 2015) which featured Martin Buttrich, Bedouin, Dance Spirit, and others. The space included 3 dance floors and a massive tent in which attendees could take rests while dancing into the morning hours. The Den’s space then morphed slightly into the official Mirage, featuring an expanded outdoor area with multiple levels for its July 4th opening.
